Carry-On Luggage Sizes are Critical

Carry-on luggage sizes are the first thing you need to consider when purchasing.  Given the lack of standards in the luggage industry, you'll find the term "carry-on" assigned to many pieces of luggage that won't fit your needs. When buying, check the carry-on luggage sizes before you worry about weight or features.

Keep in mind that most domestic airlines have a size restriction of 45 linear inches.  You'll see the linear inches posted for each of the carry-on reviews.  However, there are five domestic airlines that have different rules, and International airlines have a wide variety of different size restrictions.

For more information about sizes, visit the luggage sizes buying guide page.
